"Too Unreliable for Me"
My first reaction is that the paper itself is decent, but the delivery is a mess. Some days it shows up late, and other days it just doesn’t show up at all, which gets old fast.

I’ve called it in a few times and they usually toss me a credit, but that’s not really the point. I don’t want to chase credits, I just want the paper delivered. At this point, it feels like more trouble than it’s worth.

"Reliable local news, imagine that"
I mostly read palmbeachpost.com for local Palm Beach County stories and updates, it’s nice to find a news site that doesn’t treat every random rumor like breaking news gold. Shocking concept, I know.

When something is still developing, I’ve noticed they actually update the story later and make corrections clearly instead of just pretending the first version was perfect. That kind of thing matters when you’re trying to know what’s actually going on.

Overall, it’s a solid place to keep up with local news without feeling like I need to open five other tabs just to make sure I’m not being wildly misled. A low bar, maybe, but they clear it.

"Not really worth the monthly fee tbh"
I signed up because I wanted to keep up with local news, but there just isn’t enough fresh content to make the price feel worth it. Feels like I’m paying way too much for not much in return, imo

"Managing my account on palmbeachpost.com was mostly..."
Managing my account on palmbeachpost.com was mostly fine, and my gut feeling is that it does the job but isn’t as smooth as it should be. Updating basic info was easy once I found the right spot, but a few settings were buried behind extra clicks. Changing or canceling things didn’t feel super obvious either, which made me second-guess if I was in the right place. It works, but it definitely feels like it could be simpler.

"The app keeps freezing on me"
I’ve been having a rough time with the app lately. Pages take forever to load, and it’s crashed on me a bunch of times. It’s frustrating, though I’m sure it might work better for other people or just needs a few fixes.

"Most mornings, I try to read the e-edition..."
Most mornings, I try to read the e-edition and it’s the same kind of thing, pages freeze, the login sends me in circles, and then this or that just stops working. I’ve reached out to support, but nothing really seems to get fixed. it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

"I tried to cancel my account and..."
I tried to cancel my account and it felt like they just kept sending me in circles. Every time I thought I was getting close, there was another step that wasn’t clearly explained. I never really knew what I was supposed to do next, and it ended up being way more frustrating than it needed to be

"I wish I’d read the reviews before signing up"
I signed up because the trial price looked like a good deal, but once that ended the cost jumped way higher than I expected. for a local news site, it just feels overpriced to me. I also didn’t love the cancellation process, it was more annoying than it needed to be. Kind of regretting not checking reviews first because I probably would’ve skipped it. Not worth it for me.

"Trying to Read Obituaries Is Way More Annoying Than It Should Be"
I just wanted to check the obituaries, but they’re locked again and it turned into a whole hassle. What really gets me is when you reach out for help and it feels like you’re getting the same copy-paste support response instead of someone actually looking into it. At this point, it doesn’t feel worth the trouble

"Nice to have for keeping up locally"
I usually check it when I want to see what’s going on around town, especially for local updates and things I might not hear about otherwise. The reporting is generally easy to follow and it’s become part of my routine here and there. Every so often I’ll read an opinion piece and feel like it leans a bit too much in one direction, but that’s not the whole experience. Most days it still feels useful, fair, and worth reading.

"My paper got missed again, again. I called..."
My paper got missed again, again. I called support and they told me it was fixed, but nothing changed. Still no paper, still the same problem

"Misleading wording and then a paywall"
I thought I’d be able to actually read the articles based on how everything was worded, but then almost everything I clicked on was locked behind a paywall. It feels misleading to make it seem like content is available and then ask for payment right away. Kind of ruined the experience for me.

"Customer service was fine, just slow as hell"
I had to reach out to palmbeachpost.com about my account because something wouldn’t load right, which was already annoying enough. I just wanted to fix the damn thing and move on.

They did eventually get back to me, and to be fair, the answer actually helped once they replied. But it took longer than I expected, so I was sitting there wondering if my message had disappeared into some customer service black hole.
Overall, it wasn’t a complete disaster or anything. The support was okay, just slow, and they could definitely be more responsive instead of making people wait around like idiots.

"Feels like there’s not enough context"
I’ve been checking in regularly, but lately a lot of the stories feel a little too thin. The headlines make it seem like there’s a bigger story there, and then the article is just a few basics without much background or local detail. Sometimes I’m left wondering what happened before, what it means, or if there’s any follow-up coming. It just feels a bit rushed, so I don’t find myself going back as often anymore.

"Breaking news can be really useful... or kind of frustrating"
I usually check palmbeachpost.com when something is going on nearby, sometimes they’re quick with the basic info. Other times, though, I’ll already have seen more on TV or scrolling through social media, which is a little annoying because I want the local site to be the first place I go.
It’s not terrible at all, and I do still use it, but it feels uneven. The breaking news alerts especially can be helpful, but then they’ll be super vague, like just a headline with barely anything else, and I’m sitting there waiting for details that show up somewhere else first

"Billing could be a lot clearer"
I was a little surprised by some of the charges on my bill, and it wasn’t very clear what they were for. I called to ask about it, but I kept getting transferred around, which made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be

"I want to stick with them, but the access issues are frustrating"
I’ve been a loyal reader for a while, so I really wanted to keep supporting them with a digital subscription. But the access has been frustrating. I paid for it, and it still randomly logs me out or won’t load certain articles. Support was helpful the first time, which I appreciated, but then the same thing happened again. I like the content enough to want to stay, but this is making it harder than it should be.

"I do like using it to keep..."
I do like using it to keep up with what’s going on around Palm Beach, especially when I just want a quick local news check. That said, some of the articles feel a little too short, and the paywall can get frustrating when you’re just trying to read a basic update. Still, it’s a handy source overall for local stories and quick headlines.
